I've talked to Eliza at the past 3 state wrestling tourneys, so she's been with the Coalfield for at least 2 years.

Which reminded me that the lady sounds like some of our Grundy wrestling mommies. The coaches never cared about how good you WERE, but about how good you ARE. I rem. a few years back when a defending state champ only got a couple of matches the next season because another guy was better at the time. No complaints from the prev. champ or the team because the "bench-warmer" EARNED his spot on the team that year.
